Biography

Dr. Bussenger graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981 and Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. After completing the National Board Exams and the Illinois State Board Exam, Dr. Bussenger opened a practice in Buffalo Grove, IL (a suburb of Chicago), in 1986. In 1995 Dr. Bussenger completed the TN state Board exam and opened an office in Cordova, TN., and just opened a second location in Fayette Co. in Oakland, TN. Dr. Bussenger is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Dr. Bussenger utilizes the latest research in the area of diagnostics and treatment for problems seen in the spine and extremity joints of patients.

Dr. Bussenger is a member of the Motion Palpations Institute, American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness, and The American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians
