Did you know- since muscle is denser than fat

  • Since muscle is denser than fat, if you lose fat tissue but add muscle, your weight may actually increase.
  • 11,000 women give birth in the Unite States every day.
  • Stress, not physical injury, is the major cause of back pain.
  • A Diet rich in garlic, shallots and onions may cut the risk of prostate cancer in half.
  • While 80% of Americans say teeth flossing is important, only 36% of us actually floss daily.

The cervical spine- is, the upper Seven of our vertebrae

The cervical spine- that is, the upper seven of our vertebrae-must surely rank among the most under appreciated yet most vital parts of our body. Its 37 separate joints allow the head and neck to move atop the torso, all the while obeying constant commands from the special senses and reflex mechanisms.

"The cervical spine holds up our 9 to 16 lb. heads for between 14 and 16 hours a day. This is hardly easy. First of all, the head is far from evenly balanced on top of our spine. In fact, it's tilted heavily forward; without the cervical muscles, it would topple over onto our chest." The head's weight can become unbearable over time. If you'd like to get a clearer picture, try this: hold a 16 lb. bowling ball in your hand with your elbow on a table for as long as you can. (Few people can keep this up longer than an hour.)

"That means the cervical spine is a vital part of nearly all our everyday activities." "Speaking, gesturing, sitting, standing, lying down and breathing involve the cervical spine. Most of what our head can do is thanks to the cervical spine."

You'll be glad to know that chiropractors have led the way in recognizing the cervical spine's uniqueness-even from the rest of the spine-and caring for it accordingly.

Exploring common Myths about Chiropracti- "I don't believe in Chiropractic"

"I Don't Believe in Chiropractic"

If you're familiar with the placebo effect, you're aware of the influence our minds can have on the outcome of a particular health care procedure. But belief in chiropractic is not necessary for the benefits of a better-working nervous system to show up. Countless examples of newborns and babies benefiting from chiropractic care are documented in research. Even cats, dogs, horses and other animals that can't possibly "believe" in chiropractic have benefited from care!

Vitamins- Metagenic is the product we recommend.
