Dr. Robert Bussenger

Dr. Bussenger graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981 and Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. After completing the National Board Exams and the Illinois State Board Exam, Dr. Bussenger opened a practice in Buffalo Grove, IL (a suburb of Chicago), in 1986.

In 1995 Dr. Bussenger completed the TN state Board exam and opened an office in Cordova, TN., and just opened a second location in Fayette Co. in Oakland, TN. Dr. Bussenger is a Board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Dr. Bussenger utilizes the latest research in the area of diagnostics and treatment for problems seen in the spine and extremity joints of patients.

Dr. Bussenger is a member of the Motion Palpations Institute, American Chiropractic Association Council on Sports Injuries and Physical Fitness, and The American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians

 

Julie Jenkins, LMT, CTA

Julie is the massage therapist and chiropractic therapy assistant at Bussenger Chiropractic. Julie graduated in 1999 from the Mobile school of Massage Therapy, in Mobile Alabama, with a degree in Massage Therapy. Julie is Nationally Board Certified and certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Advance Deep Tissue Therapy, Sports Massage and Stone Massage. Julie began working at Bussenger Chiropractic in 2010 as a Chiropractic Therapy Assistant. Julie utilizes neuromuscular reeducation therapies on the muscle, tendons and ligaments to assist the patient in a faster more complete recovery. This is part of the evidence based, integrated health care that we provide.
